Preventing Child Trafficking Act of 2025

This bill requires the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) within the Department of Justice, in coordination with the Office on Trafficking in Persons (OTIP) within the Department of Health and Human Services, to continue implementing the anti-trafficking recommendations contained in the Government Accountability Office's report titled Child Trafficking: Addressing Challenges to Public Awareness and Survivor Support . Specifically, the bill requires the OVC and OTIP to collaborate to (1) develop and implement strategies to prevent child trafficking and support child trafficking survivors; and (2) establish achievable performance goals and targets for anti-trafficking programs for children.
